The market for meetings and conferences has an annual turnover of DKK 20.8 billion kroner and employs approx. 37,900 employees. In the region of Southern Denmark alone, there are approx. 174 meeting places where 46,000 meetings are held annually for almost two million meeting participants. It has become a large industry, and there are now many meeting and conference venues on offer. In order to stand strong in the competition, it is therefore important to develop and innovate in a meeting culture that otherwise follows some relatively traditional patterns.
